Socially conscious rapper Zeale (pronounced “zee-lee”) is a perfect metaphor for the Austin music scene; he throws rock and electronic music in a blender and mixes in a solid foundation of east coast hip-hop to make something refreshing and revitalizing. Many things set him apart from other hip-hop artists, but the most glaring is his overwhelmingly positive message, a message that is especially welcome in these uncertain times. His newest release FRNZ & FNGS embodies that spirit and then some, Del the Funky Homosapien even makes a cameo. Zeale stopped by studio 1A to show us some of the tunes off of his new album, check it out below!
