Primal punk, Austin based duo The Ghost Wolves‘ sound is reminiscent of of a past era, half 90’s grunge, half bluesy folk they describe themselves as “stomp and roll.” With just a four-piece drum kit, and an electric guitar married couple Carley and Jonathan Wolf aim to make audiences “rock out.” They released their first EP in 2011 with such tracks as “Gonna Live,” that seem to perfectly encapsulate the feeling of a lazy summer day. Since the release of their EP they have been touring, and hard at work on their album, Man, Women Beast released by Plowboy records, it drops the 27th of this month. You catch them live this saturday at Holy Mountain for their album release show, and you can listen to their Studio 1A performance from Monday of this week here.
