Speaking of which, Emily Staveley-Taylor took a mental health break herself, leaving the band to care for her two young children while sisters Jessica and Camilla carry the folk-pop torch on their latest, a glorious mix of ‘70s FM Gold era influences recorded with Grammy Award-winning producer John Congleton.
The Staves’ All Now tour stops in Austin tonight at Antone’s, with Shallow Alcove opening the show. An entire evening of magnificent harmonies. Doors at 7 p.m.
