Down at The Farm

Looks like the Fourth of July arrived a bit early, and the night will be illuminated by all the explosive music. Once again, the annual Red White and Blue Ball has organized another tremendous music-filled affair at The Ball Farm with some of the best local bands in the scene.

The mini-fest, now in its third year of summertime celebrations, includes free camping, a variety of food trucks, and – true to Austin form – a water slide. You can enjoy all the live music and cool off with a refreshing slide, if you fancy. The gates open today at 3 p.m. out at the Farm, located at 119 Redbird Ln. in Dale, TX, just outside the city limits. Visit the website for directions and details about the camp grounds. Tickets can also be purchased on the website.

The line-up speaks for itself, but let it be known that it’s made your Austin Music Minute maven swoon like mad: Shinyribs, Danny Malone, Leopold & His Fiction, The Gents, Calliope Musicals, Chipper Jones and The Golden Dawn Arkestra. If you’re not dancing at this party, you must not have a pulse. So recommended.
