Who: We’re damn lucky in Austin. Not only do we get some great touring acts coming through town, but they’re always paired up with awesome afterparties. Like tonight’s show with Blonde Redhead and Dot Hacker on the Mohawk’s outside stage; you need to stick around for the show afterward inside.
What: It’s a mightly space-psych trip with AMM fave Obscured By Echoes, following an opening set by pop quartet Zettajoule.
When: Tonight; doors open for the the Blonde Redhead at 6:30 p.m. The aftershow follows at 10 p.m.
Where: The Mohawk, 912 Red River.
Why: It’s a no-brainer, really. Awesome followed by more awesome? Come one. This one comes recommended.
