It feels like a spiritual connection between the four multi-talented musicians, an otherworldly effervescence that gives one the sense that damn, these harmonies are meant to be. If you’re one of the lucky ones, and you’ve seen Ley Line perform in an intimate space – say, in KUTX’s Studio 1A, you know how enthralling the vocals are. Their 2020 LP We Saw Blue is a natural healer for a mind in upheaval.
Earlier this month, the Austin-based globally-inspired quartet released a new track, recently featured on the KUTX Song of the Day, “Postcards” recorded back in May, a sweet melodic spree reveling in the joy of friendship and community. Ley Line’s next live performance is coming up this Friday, Nov. 26, at 3Ten at ACL Live, sharing the bill with Jaime Ospina (Superfónicos), and the show includes a screening of Ley Line’s visual album, We Saw Blue. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the music starts at 8:30 p.m.
