This Is Halloween

If you’ve not made any plans for what is actually Halloween night – tonight – then let the Austin Music Minute offer you some lovely recommendations. All the cool ghouls will dig these grooves:

-If you’ve not yet experienced the magic of The Invincible Czars performing original scores to silent films, you’re in for a big treat. The Czars perform another incredible live music score composed for the original Nosferatu at Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar, 1120 S. Lamar Blvd. Two showings – 7:15 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Shalom! Check out tonight’s Werewolf Bar Mitzvah starring SIP SIP, Slomo Drags, and what could very well be a reunited Whiite Walls at Spider House Ballroom, 2906 Fruth St. And hoooooowwwwwl like you mean it.

-Look out for Halloween at Geraldine’s, 605 Davis St. in Hotel Van Zandt, featuring KP and The Boom Boom.

-Tonight is the Tele Novella LP Release Halloween Ball with Big Bill and Deep Time at Barracuda, E. 7th St. Dress to impress your fellow goblins.

-All kinds of meshed up with the Meshed Up Mondays Halloween Party at the Hard Luck Lounge, 3526 E. 7th St., with Chris Strand and The Sinners.

Enjoy your witches’ night out, fiends. And, in the words of your AMM host’s favorite spooky vixen: “Unpleasant dreams!”
