For nearly a decade now, you’ve heard him passionately unpack other artist’s music on Song Exploder. Now, following the recent triumphs of the Companion original score and his new album In the Last Hour of Light, singer-songwriter-composer Hrishikesh Hirway breaks down the ingredients behind his own latest batch of songs. In doing so Hirway expands on some of that new full-length’s most significant influences, including how he was introduced to the LP’s major collaborators.
