Over the past few years, Dripping Springs’ Israel Nash has tapped back into the Hill Country’s cosmic country past. His most recent albums–2015’s Silver Season and 2014’s Rain Plans–are psychedelic Americana gems, full of Nash’s yearning melodies and guitar freakouts.
Nash and his band brought this widescreen sound to ACL Fest and KUTX Live at the Four Seasons (which you can relive here). This week on My KUTX, Nash also digs deep into his record collection to play some of his influences and favorite artists. Hear his guest DJ set on Saturday, October 8 at 6 p.m. or listen now at the bottom of the page.
