Chaka, one half of Austin hip-hop powerhouse Riders Against The Storm, is back to share more of his “sonik rootz”, and he’s got a lot to celebrate. His monthly dance party, Body Rock ATX, just marked its fourteenth year. On February 22, he’ll host a podcast taping with KUTX Artist of the Month Tameca Jones at DAWA HQ, the space he helped create to support Black Austin artists. And on March 30, his Riders musical partner Qi Dada hosts a concert called Black Divas at the Austin PBS campus.
