Activism takes shape in many forms, sometimes even that of an inner city bicycle route. And if there’s one Austin community leader who appreciates the progressive potential of pedaling, it’s Black History Bike Ride founder Talib Abdullahi. Ahead of BHBR’s next community ride 1-3PM on Saturday, February 22nd and the premiere of their documentary Momentum 6-8PM that same evening at Antone’s, Talib gave KUTX a peloton-perfect playlist that captures a snapshot of Black History Bike Ride’s essence and cycles between jazz, dub, hip-hop, Afrobeat, R&B, and more.
