You can’t always judge someone’s position by their job title. Take “Travis County Judge” for example; it’s not so much gown and gavel as it is being sort of the “Mayor of Travis County”. And while the Andy Brown does always have his hands full with all sorts of issues, at the end of the day he still earns some major cool points for presiding over Travis County, which by extension, means the Live Music Capital of the World.
In celebration of Love Austin Music Month, Judge Brown incorporated some awesome musical memories into his eclectic KUTX Guest DJ set – spanning from Austin to Argentina, Honduras to Colorado Springs, and beyond – in a way that connects old Austin and anecdotes of adolescence to the political landscape we find ourselves in today.
