Loud, stimulating, and in-your-face, A Giant Dog delivers a garage rock sound that grabs listeners by the ears and cuts like a knife. A Giant Dog is made up of highschool friends, Sabrina Ellis on vocals, Andrew Cashen on vocals, guitar, Orville Neeley on drums later adding members Andy Bauer on guitar and Graham Low on bass. AGD’s sound is all parts rock, brimming with comparisons to The Ramones‘ brash lyrics of youth and rebellion, Judas Priest‘s gritty rock, and an electric charged Blondie all rolled into a exhilarating rock n’ roll experience. The band is set to release their newest album, Pile, on May 7th at the Barracuda so make sure to get tickets while they’re available!
A Giant Dog stopped by Studio 1A and played some of their music for us and put on quite a show. If you missed the live session you’re in luck, you can stream it right here on KUTX.
