Garage-punk quartet BRONCHO made their way into our Studio 1A to play some of their punk/pop, energetic jams. The band, made up of Ryan Lindsay (also known as the keyboardist for Starlight Mints), Nathan Price, Ben King, and Johnathon Ford, hail from Oklahoma, though their debut album, 2011’s “Can’t Get Past the Lips,” is internationally acclaimed. BRONCHO’s music echoes that of The Replacements, Iggy and the Stooges, and The Ramones, as they’ve always felt a connection with the punk music era. They are likely best known for their stellar live reputation, and their short, energetic shows are often explosive in the best way.
You can check them out when they open for Two Gallants at Red 7 in Austin on Tuesday night. Also be sure check out this band’s performance right here!
