Before doing their show at the Continental Club tonight, Studio 1a got a taste of Phil and Dave Alvin first.
Blues and rock brothers Phil and Dave Alvin still got it after 40 years of producing and performing music. The duo has an easy listening blend bluesy improvisation that provides a signature accompaniment. The brothers got their start with the creation of their first band The Blasters and finally have reunited in 2014 to play with each other again to produce their new album Common Ground.
