Reed Turner 12.13.17

Reed Turner might have roots in Austin but he’s a wanderer and a vagabond at heart; the singer-songwriter has been on the road honing his unique genre-melding sound for six years. Reed’s debut EP landed in 2011 and has been followed by two critically acclaimed releases. His music is thick with deep, haunting bass lines and vocals strung with an entrancing intimacy. The sound is rooted in Americana but pulls from a huge variety of genres and influences. Reed will be performing as part of Christmas on Congress at the Paramount Theatre on December 15th. The event is presented by Music and Memories and will be benefitting Alzheimer’s Texas and Austin Sunshine Camps. Amazing musicians and wonderful guests come together to support the legacies of these two organizations in a night of music and merriment. Other guests include Marc & Ted BroussardJackie Venson and Eve Monsées. We were lucky enough to have Reed Turner in Studio 1A ahead of this lovely event. Check out the full session below!
