Sun June 12.5.21

Sun June’s Somewhere is a record for in-between times. Like the magic hour right before dusk, where the last slivers of sunlight cast long, gilded shadows on the city’s streets. Even the old buildings and the cranes replacing them feel a little magical. It makes sense the band met while working on a Terrence Malick film, whose work seems to be suspended in eternal sunset. Although Sun June may not have the same appreciation for wheat fields and meandering plots like the Texas director, both are best taken with a slow pace and a wandering mind.

The video below is recommended while decorating a new apartment, on Doug Sahm Hill at sunset, or anytime you feel things are moving a little too fast.
