The Invincible Czars 4.24.19

The Invincible Czars make quirky, bold music for lovers of everything in the “other” category. Inspired by comics, sci-fi, fantasy & horror stories, cartoons, comedians, and classical composers, they’re eclectic, dynamic and always have a cinematic flair.

The most adventurous band from Austin, Texas—The Invincible Czars—are bringing their new score to town as they perform it live to the 1925 American silent film The Phantom of the Opera starring Lon Chaney. The 30-city tour brings not only screenings with live accompaniment (including several double feature performances of their widely praised score for the 1922 German film Nosferatu) but also a brand-new album of their The Phantom of the Opera score as well as limited edition screen-prints of the tour poster and more. Listen to their recent session from Studio 1A in the player below and follow the links to find more on their innovative concert series.
