If you love Latin music, psych music, soul music, and just good music in general, you oughta already know Adrian Quesada. And even if you only know the bare minimum about his background, you could probably guess that the visionary multi-instrumentalist-songwriter-arranger-multi-hyphenate behind acclaimed projects like the multi-Grammy-nominated Black Pumas, the feature-laden Boleros Psicodelicos, and most recently the instrumentally-infectious Trio Asesino has always had a great ear for curation. So it was no surprise to us that his My KUTX guest DJ set turned into a reverent exhibition of artists from all kinds of backgrounds coupled with it-could-only-happen-to-him anecdotes of true musical discovery.
