On the weekend of April 27th and 28th, the Austin Blues Festival returns to the Moody Amphitheater. Like last year’s iteration, the festival–run by the folks behind Antone’s–pays tribute to the original blues roots of its namesake while expanding its boundaries. Performers include blues legends Buddy Guy and Jimmie Vaughan alongside Brittany Howard’s psychedelic soul, Cuban funk exports Cimafunk, jazz genius Robert Glasper, a second-line brass band, and a whole lot more.
