My KUTX: Eclipse Utopia

Eclipse Utopia

My KUTX // March 30, 2024

Since 2009, UTOPiA Fest has brought an eclectic music and camping experience to the Hill Country. Last year saw the final fest proper, but organizer Travis Sutherland is throwing one last bash April 5-9 called Eclipse Utopia to coincide with the total solar eclipse. The eclipse’s epicenter passes right over UTOPiA’s grounds at Four Sisters Ranch, making for optimal viewing on the afternoon of April 8th. The weekend leading up to the eclipse includes a who’s who of Austin music talent, including Sir Woman, Ghostland Observatory, Caramelo Haze, and more, plus out-of-towner sets from Son Little and Toubab Krewe.

This week on My KUTX, Sutherland returns as our guest DJ to talk about this once-in-a-lifetime event and the many memories from UTOPiAs past. Hear My KUTX on Saturday, March 30 at 6 p.m. or listen anytime right here.
