Fiore Tedesco is the Austin chef behind beloved Italian institution L’Oca d’Oro and the brand-new pizza joint Bambino. But funnily enough, it was music that helped bring him back to cooking. Tedesco was a touring drummer for years, sharing bills with Delta Spirit and backing up famed L.A. punk Kid Congo Powers. A tour with Powers took Tedesco across Europe and reignited his passion for his family’s Italian cooking. Now he’s one of Austin’s best chefs, co-owning two restaurants and raising money for Good Work Austin.
