Over the past few years, Modern Outsider–a local, independent record label–has really captured the sound of Austin by releasing music that’s not really unified in sound. Its roster includes everything from Black Pistol Fire and Dana Falconberry & Medicine Bow to Moving Panoramas and Hard Proof.
This week on My KUTX, Erin and Chip Adams–the married team behind Modern Outsider–are the guest DJs, spinning the songs that made them want to start a record label in the first place. Tune in Saturday, May 28 at 6 p.m. or listen anytime at the bottom of the page.
