Jimmie Vaughan has been a musician for over fifty years, performing alongside everyone from Jimi Hendrix and BB King to the Fabulous Thunderbirds and our own Paul Ray (of Twine Time fame). He’s hands-down one of the best guitarists to come out of Austin, or Texas for that matter. He’s had a busy year: in April he helped induct his brother Stevie Ray Vaughan into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, and he’s also the official Texas State Musician for 2015. This is a fun guest DJ set—Jimmie takes us on a tour of his roots growing up in Dallas and the artists that influenced him the most. Listen below his playlist.
