My KUTX: Soundfounder

Soundfounder is the moniker for Andrew Brown, who makes electronic music under that name too. In 2010, Brown co-founded Exploded Drawing, a monthly event that spotlights emerging electronic music from Austin and around the country. Brown also runs Exploded Records, a record shop located within JuiceLand on 45th and Duval. And starting this Saturday at 1 a.m., he’ll be hosting his very own weekly show on KUTX, focusing on electronic, modern jazz, and modern funk music from Austin and around the world. Expect everything from Flying Lotus, DJ Shadow, and Radiohead to the best up-and-coming producers you need to know. To celebrate the new show, Soundfounder is also the guest DJ on My KUTX this week, showcasing his electronic expertise. Hear Soundfounder’s My KUTX on Saturday, September 7 at 6 p.m., or listen at any time below.
